Dr. Vanessa Navarro is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with a Master’s degree in Equine Osteopathy from the London College of Animal Osteopathy and the owner of a private equine osteopathy practice serving the Hampton Roads area. She is also a Certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning through Therapeutic Horsemanship International, reflecting her dedication to both equine emotional well-being and the human–horse connection.

Throughout her career, Dr. Navarro has worked extensively with children with physical, emotional, and developmental disabilities, incorporating therapeutic horsemanship principles to support learning, confidence, and emotional growth. She holds an associate degree in Equine Internal Medicine, completed her internship at Northwest Equine Medical Center, and previously served as Veterinarian in Charge at Emerald Downs Racetrack in Seattle, overseeing medical care for elite performance and racehorses.
